Caitlin Clark’s injury status remains unclear, but the Indiana Fever sensation did get some good news on Thursday.

After Clark underwent further medical testing on her ailing right groin, the team has announced that no additional injury or tissue damage was discovered.

Thus far, Clark has missed three games with the injury, including the All-Star Game, but she is currently traveling with the team.

Clark is working with medical staff on her recovery. She previously battled left groin and left quad strains earlier this season.

She has now missed 11 of 24 Fever games on top of last weekend’s All-Star festivities in Indianapolis. As a result, the WNBA’s Nielsen ratings have suffered in 2025 after shattering all league records during Clark’s rookie season.

All-Star Game viewership dropped from 3.4 million in 2024 to 2.2 million on Saturday,

Clark’s second WNBA season has not been quite as smooth as her first.

Injuries aside, her 3-point accuracy has dropped from 34.4 percent to 27.9 percent, and she’s continued to face criticism for her defense, including one recent incident during a game against the Atlanta Dream in Indianapolis.

When Clark came off a high screen to launch a doomed 3-point attempt, the former Iowa star was seen swinging her fist in frustration as an Atlanta fast break erupted in the opposite direction.

It was then that a Fever fan pictured on the bottom of the screen could be seen pointing and yelling at Clark in an apparent attempt to refocus the Indiana star.

Fans online appeared to enjoy the exchange after Indiana’s 99-82 win.

‘This sequence is too much,’ one wrote. ‘The fan yelling at her to get back on defense is sending me [laughing emoji].’

‘That fan yelling get back [on] defense was my dad sitting in his living room in Cedar Rapids,’ another added.

The Fever remain in the thick of the playoff hunt at 12-12.

Indiana hosts the Aces on Thursday night on Prime Video.
