TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Google launched its latest subscription package for all access to AI products on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Google Photos and Google One Vice-President Shimrit Ben Yair said the subscription package for Google's AI access is now only available in the United States.
"Google AI Ultra is available today in the U.S. for $249.99/month (with a special offer for first-time users of 50% off for your first three months), and coming soon to more countries," she said in a Google blog on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
This subscription package will unlock all access to Google's AI models and premium features. In detail, customers will have access to all features in the Gemini, Flow, Whisk, NotebookLM, Project Mariner, and YouTube Premium applications. In addition, they can have full access to Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Vids, and others, as well as Gemini in Chrome, and will be given 30 TB of storage access in Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail.
Google AI Ultra is the second subscription package for premium AI access after Google AI Pro. This package was introduced at the Google I/O 2025 annual developer conference.
Shimrit said Google AI Pro will also get additional access to Gemini in Chrome and the AI film-making application in Flow. The Flow application is now equipped with the Veo 2 model. This benefit has also been granted to customers in the United States and will be expanded to many countries.
"We're also expanding free access to Google AI Pro for a school year to university students in Japan, Brazil, Indonesia and the United Kingdom, in addition to the U.S.," she said.
