TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo invites all stakeholders to build a strong ecosystem in order to optimize the potential of Indonesia's digital economy, projected to reach US$109 billion by 2025.

Indonesia, he said, is one of the largest digital communities in the world, with such potential values. However, he called for all parties to remain vigilant against various threats, including cyberattacks targeting strategic sectors.

"We must be more prepared to face these challenges together," said Kartika in his official statement received in Jakarta on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

He also lauded the state-owned security printing firm Perum PERURI for organizing the Digital Resilience Summit 2025. This event brought together industry leaders, regulators, academics, and tech communities to discuss crucial issues in building digital resilience in Indonesia.

The event raised the theme "Integrating Cybersecurity, AI, Quantum & Privacy for Enterprise Resilience," and was held in collaboration with PT Xynexis International, emphasizing the commitment to cross-sector collaboration to strengthen national digital resilience.

The President Director of PERURI, Dwina Septiani Wijaya, said the event was a strategic momentum and platform to strengthen the company's contribution in building the technology ecosystem and digital security in Indonesia.

"In a risk-filled disruption era, cross-sector collaboration is the key to maintaining Indonesia's digital sovereignty," she said.

The Digital Business Director of PERURI, Farah Fitria Rahmayanti, mentioned that all parties should be able to leverage technological changes to confront cyberattacks and deepfake threats.

She highlighted the need for the ability to integrate cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and quantum technology to maintain the data privacy managed by the company.

She also emphasized the important role of regulators in setting governance standards and technology usage ethics, considering that they always have two sides, threats as well as opportunities.

"Regulators need to set the standards for how governance and ethics can be implemented," said Farah.

Echoing the sentiment, the CEO of PT Xynexis International, Eva Noor, stated that all parties must synergize in addressing issues of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and data privacy.

"This forum provides a shared space for the government, industry, and academia to find concrete solutions so that Indonesia is truly ready to face the digital future," she said.
