TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi emphasized that President Prabowo Subianto has no plans to reshuffle the Red and White Cabinet, even though the performance evaluation of ministers is ongoing.
At the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday, Prasetyo said the evaluation and oversight of cabinet members is carried out routinely to ensure that government programs are implemented according to targets.
"As we often say, the evaluation or monitoring process does not always result in a reshuffle," said Prasetyo, as quoted by ANTARA.
He said that the president has his own criteria for evaluating the performance of ministries and officials, which include coordination, monitoring, and providing regular input. In addition to performance achievements, the ministers' public communication is also part of the evaluation. Any inaccurate public communication will be noted for improvement.
Prasetyo emphasized that monitoring, supervision, and evaluation processes are carried out to ensure that each ministry implements its programs correctly, quickly, with good governance, and is capable of resolving various community issues.
"There's no reshuffle, no reshuffle, not yet," he said in response to a question about a possible cabinet reshuffle.
President Prabowo last reshuffled his cabinet at the end of April 2026, appointing several new officials to the Red and White Cabinet. It was the fifth cabinet reshuffle since he took office as President.
At that time, Prabowo appointed activist Jumhur Hidayat as Minister of the Environment, replacing the previous official, Hanif Faisol. On the same occasion, Hanif Faisol was appointed Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food.
In addition, the President also inaugurated the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army for 2021–2023, Dudung Abdurachman, as Head of Presidential Staff, replacing Muhammad Qodari, who on that occasion was also inaugurated as Head of the Government Communications Agency.
