Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth was in College Station, Texas to attend an SEC college football game - but the result wasn't in favor of the home team.
Hegseth traveled to attend a game at Texas A&M on Saturday when they played conference opponents Kentucky.
The school has deep ties to the American military and is one of six institutions with the designation as a 'senior military college.'
Before the game, Hegseth addressed the corps of cadets in the early morning hours.
Then, he appeared at Kyle Field where he was cheered by the hundreds of thousands in attendance.
Hegseth attended with Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, who is an alumnus.

The embattled Hegseth brought no good luck as the Aggies were upset by Kentucky
Unfortunately for Hegseth, his presence did not provide any good luck for the home team.
The No. 9 Aggies were upset in a shocking loss to Kentucky, falling 31-21.
At the time of publishing, Texas A&M is the only ranked team that lost to an unranked team this week.
Adding insult to injury, Kentucky is the home state of Representative Thomas Massie, who introduced articles of impeachment against Hegseth earlier this week.
According to Politico, Massie's articles are for 'high crimes and misdemeanors, including the war in Iran, the Trump administration’s boat strikes in the Caribbean and Hegseth’s alleged suppression of free speech in his fight with Democrats over their calls for troops to refuse illegal orders.'
Hegseth received a much different reception at the game than Republican Senator Ted Cruz did on College GameDay last week.
Cruz arrived to the show, being taped at the University of Texas, and spent ten minutes promoting the Protect College Sports Act. All the while, students in Austin began loudly booing him throughout the segment.
