TEMPO.CO, Jakarta Summer is looking bright with the debut of "Spider-man: Brand New Day" only six weeks away from the theaters. Five years after the hero’s last appearance, Tom Holland is back on the big screen carrying his two personalities: Spidey and Peter Parker.

As fans may recall, “Spider-man: No Way Home” concluded with Peter asking Doctor Strange to cast a spell that removed him from the memories of the world, including MJ (Zendaya), in a desperate effort to save the multiverse.

Picking up after the emotional ending of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," the new MCU installment finds Peter Parker dedicating himself to protecting New York, navigating a solitary life while shouldering the responsibilities of the city's friendly neighborhood hero ahead of the film’s July 31 premiere.

According to the film’s official synopsis, Peter’s relentless commitment to crime-fighting begins to take a toll as mounting pressures trigger a mysterious physical transformation. At the same time, a troubling wave of crimes emerges across the city, leading him into a confrontation with one of the most formidable threats he has ever faced.

Written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is produced by Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige, the creative team behind several of Spider-Man’s biggest cinematic adventures.

Excitement for the upcoming film has already translated into record-breaking numbers. The movie’s first trailer became the fastest film trailer to surpass 1 billion views, reaching the milestone just four days after its March 17 debut, Variety reported.

New footage showcased at CinemaCon offered fans a closer look at Peter Parker’s new reality, including a moment that suggests MJ has moved on with someone else. The scene hints at the emotional fallout of the memory-erasing events that left Peter isolated from the people he once loved.

The film also expands its Marvel roster with the return of Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Tombstone, and Charlie Cox as Daredevil. Meanwhile, Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Tramell Tillman have joined the cast in undisclosed roles.
