TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto summoned his top aides one by one into a very very important person (VVIP) room at Wisma Danantara on Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, on Thursday afternoon, July 9, 2026. At around 11am, he first instructed National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo to enter the room.
Inside, Listyo Sigit briefed the President on three cases being handled by the National Police's Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas Tipikor) and the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. Since Wednesday afternoon, July 8, dozens of personnel from the two units had been searching several locations linked to Febrie Adriansyah, who was then serving as Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus).
Listyo Sigit's meeting with Prabowo lasted until about 1pm. Prabowo then summoned Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin into the room. After that meeting concluded, Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander Gen. Agus Subiyanto took his turn, followed by Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin.
State Intelligence Agency (BIN) Chief Muhammad Herindra was also called in. He confirmed that the meeting took place but declined to disclose what was discussed. "I meet with the President almost every day," Herindra said. Lastly, Prabowo summoned the Attorney General for a second meeting.
