TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bayern Munich thrashed Union Berlin 7-0 in the fourth week of the Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Friday night, September 18.
Jamal Musiala, Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Ismael Saibari scored for Bayern, with Kane and Olise each netting twice and three times, respectively, according to Bundesliga records.
The win moved Bayern to the top of the Bundesliga standings with 10 points from four matches, one point ahead of Freiburg, who have played three games.
Union Berlin, meanwhile, remained 16th with one point from four matches, one point above the automatic relegation zone.
Bayern opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Musiala converted Alphonso Davies' pass to make it 1-0.
Luis Diaz appeared to score for Bayern in the 30th minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Bayern doubled their lead in the 39th minute through Kane, whose shot beat Union Berlin goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow to make it 2-0.
Olise then added a third two minutes before halftime, sending Bayern into the break with a 3-0 lead.
Bayern Add Four More After Break
Bayern continued their attacking pressure after halftime and extended their lead to 4-0 in the 54th minute, when Kane scored his second of the night after receiving a cross from Olise.
The hosts made it 5-0 in the 70th minute through Saibari, who finished off a pass from Davies.
Olise scored his second three minutes later after being set up by Tom Bischof, putting Bayern 6-0 ahead.
The France international completed his hat-trick in the 76th minute, again converting Bischof's pass to make it 7-0.
Bayern continued to dominate for the remainder of the match, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle.
