Liverpool have a spring in their step now. Kerkez fancied his chances against his old club from range but has his effort blocked. Barcola has been stretching the hosts with his wide runs. There's suddenly a bouyancy about them which wasn't there before. And Isak has just narrowly missed! But the glaf went up.

Rayan steals a slither of space from Kerkez as he drives towards the goalline on the right side of the box. He whips in a low ball and Christie meets it at the near post but it spirals over. That was maybe the best chance of the game so far.
A minute later, Christie tries to drive it low with his left boot but puts too much drag on it. Wide.

We're picking up again in Manchester and I've got to say, I'm glad. This game was much better than the dross served up in the other two so far!
