TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The regular meeting of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, ended just before 7pm. Held at the headquarters of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) in the Sudirman Central Business District, South Jakarta, the meeting was attended by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa; acting Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Destry Damayanti; Financial Services Authority (OJK) Chair Frederica Widyasari; and LPS Chair Anggito Abimanyu, who hosted the gathering.

For the first time, the meeting was attended by leaders of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (Danantara). Present were Danantara Chief Executive Officer Rosan Perkasa Roeslani and Chief Operating Officer Dony Oskaria. Speaking to reporters afterward, Purbaya said Danantara's executives had been invited to provide input from a business perspective. Danantara participated only as an invited guest and had no voting rights, unlike KSSK members. "Danantara provided very constructive input during this afternoon's meeting," Purbaya said, without disclosing the meeting's conclusions.

The special meeting took place a day after President Prabowo Subianto convened members of the KSSK and representatives of Danantara at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. The gathering came after the Palace, through State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, announced that Perry Warjiyo had resigned as BI Governor and would be succeeded by Destry Damayanti.

Two officials familiar with the meeting said one of the key topics discussed was banking sector liquidity. Danantara representatives reportedly said state-owned banks were facing increasingly tight liquidity conditions. Upon hearing the assessment, Purbaya claimed it confirmed his long-held view that banking liquidity had been thinning.
