TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gold prices from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. or Antam gold rose by Rp2,000 per gram in trading on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Quoting Logam Mulia's page, Antam's current gold price is Rp1,707,000 per gram.
This price is higher than Monday, February 24, 2025, which was Rp1,705,000. Antam gold reached its highest price level at Rp1,708,000 on February 20, 2025.
Equity Analyst of PT Indo Premier Sekuritas (IPOT), David Kurniawan, said that gold has started to touch its highest price point or all-time high with a 46.6 percent increase in the past year.
"This is due to the high demand and trading activities in China, which reached an all-time high last year amid the risk of a slowdown in the U.S. economy and tariff policies," he said as quoted on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
The world gold price is estimated to reach US$3,100 per ounce this year. Meanwhile, the resale price or buyback of Antam gold bars today also increased by Rp2,000 to Rp1,557,000 per gram.
Buyback transactions above Rp10,000,000 will be subject to a 1.5 percent income tax or PPh 22. Here is the list of today's Antam gold bar prices from the Logam Mulia site:
