TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian government raised Rp30 trillion from the auction of State Debt Securities (SUN) held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The total bids received during this auction amounted to Rp75.7 trillion.
Eight series of debt securities were offered through the Bank Indonesia auction system, namely the SPN03250604 series (new issuance), SPN12260305 series (new issuance), FR0104 series (reopening), FR0103 series (reopening), FR0106 series (reopening), FR0107 series (reopening), FR0102 series (reopening), and FR0105 series (reopening).
"The total nominal amount won from the eight series offered was Rp30,000,000,000,000.00 (thirty trillion rupiah)," as stated in a release from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance, quoted on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
According to the DJPPR website, of the eight SUN series auctioned, the government only absorbed funds from seven series. The SPN03250604 series did not attract any funds despite receiving bids of Rp1 trillion.
The highest absorption came from the FR0103 series, with a winning nominal amount of Rp11.25 trillion won. This series, maturing on July 15, 2035, with a yield of 6.75 percent, received bids totaling Rp17.39 trillion.
Following closely was the FR0104 series, with a winning nominal amount of Rp9.85 trillion, while bids for this series reached Rp42 trillion. This series matures on July 15, 2030, with a yield of 6.5 percent.
The winning nominal amount for the FR0106 series was Rp3.1 trillion, with bids amounting to Rp4.33 trillion. This debt security matures on August 15, 2040, with a yield of 7.12 percent.
In fourth position was the FR0107 series, with a winning nominal amount of Rp2.25 trillion. The bids for this series, maturing on August 15, 2045, with a yield of 7.12 percent, totaled Rp2.59 trillion.
Meanwhile, the SPN12260305 series recorded a winning nominal amount of Rp2 trillion. Bids for this series reached Rp4.96 trillion. This debt security series matures on March 5, 2026, with a discount coupon rate
The FR0105 series secured sixth position, with a winning nominal amount of Rp1.3 trillion. Bids for this series, maturing on July 15, 2064, with a yield of 6.87 percent, amounted to Rp2.58 trillion.
Finally, the debt security series FR0102 had a winning nominal amount of Rp0.25 trillion. This series received bids of Rp0.91 trillion. This debt security matures on July 15, 2054, and has a yield of 6.87 percent.
Previously, the government set an indicative target for this auction at Rp26 trillion. The transaction settlement will take place two days after the auction, on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
