TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Iran has agreed to allow 20 more Pakistani-flagged ships to transit Strait of Hormuz, which has been closed for several weeks.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar confirmed the move on the US X social media platform, calling it a constructive gesture that deserves appreciation.
This is a sign of peace and will help achieve stability in the region, he said.
"Dialogue, diplomacy, and such confidence-building measures are the only way forward," he added as quoted from Anadolu.
