Wyndham Clark has publicly let slip his plans to propose to girlfriend Emily Tanner when his stunning PGA Tour season comes to an end.
Clark has enjoyed a stunning year, doubling his career win tally by triumphing in the CJ Byron Nelson Cup, US Open and BMW Championship in the space of just a few months.
His performances have cemented him at No.3 in the world rankings behind Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, generating calls for him to win the PGA Tour Player of the Year award.
Clark's impressive form has coincided with his whirlwind romance with influencer Emily Tanner after they met in January then went public with their relationship at the Masters Par-3 contest in April.
She has been on hand to watch all three of his wins this season - and he hopes that by the time the 2027 season arrives, she will be his fiancée.
Asked how he plans to spend his time off after next week's Tour Championship, the 32-year-old revealed. 'I'm going to be in Cabo next week.

'Hopefully get engaged and then going to South Africa for a tournament as well.'
Asked for more details around 'hopefully' being engaged, Clark added: 'Hopefully, she says yes.'
Tanner, 31, revealed in an Instagram Q&A last month that they had connected online after having mutual friends and said: 'We met end of January and fell pretty fast. We're super similar and we get along so well.'
The Detroit native was on hand to celebrate his first win of the season near Dallas in May with a kiss and shared her pride on social media.
'So unbelievably proud!! Love you so much @wyndhamclark ❤️,' she wrote over the post showing them sharing a kiss as he held the trophy.
Days before Clark won the BMW Championship, she announced plans to move from California to be with her boyfriend.
'I cannot believe I'm about to say this, but I am moving,' Tanner noted in an Instagram video posted on August 20. 'I have lived in California for the last five years and honestly, I never thought that I would leave here.

'I think one of the most special parts about falling in love is realizing that the life you've pictured for yourself can completely change when you find someone that you want to build it with,' Tanner added.
'After months of living out of a suitcase, I am so excited that I finally get to live with my best friend and start our new chapter together. It's definitely bittersweet to leave California, but I think I'm more excited than anything.'
Clark has also hailed Tanner's role in his improved performances this season. While competing for his most recent win, he told reporters: 'Fortunately, I got a great girlfriend I can hang out with, and she distracts me and keeps me from worrying about what's going on and I stay in the present, so she helps a lot.'
