TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Chelsea and AC Milan faced off for a preseason fixture at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. The Blues shut out AC Milan 3-0 in a triumphant game led by Joao Pedro, who scored twice, and a winning goal by Moises Caicedo.
Chelsea were on top throughout the game, but it was not until the first-half stoppage that Joao Pedro broke through the Rossoneri's goal.
Citing BBC, the Brazil forward scored another one just seconds after the break, with an assistant from Pedro Neto's cross to the far post.
Moises Caicedo added a third goal just four minutes later, through a brilliant volley into the far corner with the outside of his boot.
Chelsea previously lost preseason games to Tottenham and Juventus, and they will continue playing on Sunday against Malaysia's Johor Darul Ta'zim.
For Milan, the blows came after draws against Celtic and Inter Milan in previous friendly matches.
The Blues will kick off their Premiere League campaigns on August 24, facing off against Fulham.
Meanwhile, AC Milan will go on to face Manchester United for one last friendly match in Wroclaw, Poland, on August 15. The Rossoneri will then open their Serie A matches against Torino on August 23.
