
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts light-intensity rain across Greater Jakarta today, Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The weather forecast extends to the Seribu Islands.
The drizzles are expected to hit regions surrounding Jakarta as well, including the Bekasi Regency and City, Bogor Regency and City, Tangerang Regency and City, Depok City, and South Tangerang.
BMKG’s weather forecast today differs from yesterday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr this year. On March 31, Greater Jakarta was cloudy with no chance of rain in any of its regions.
According to BMKG, Jakarta’s weather today also deviates from that of West Java and Central Java, which are expecting heavy to torrential downpours. Meanwhile, Banten will be greeted by moderate to heavy rainfall today.
Specifically for West Java, according to BMKG, there are chances for moderate to heavy rain for the week ahead. Other regions with the same weather potential during the period of April 1-7, 2025, are North Maluku and South Papua.
