TEMPO.COJakarta - The Oscar nominations 2026 have officially been unveiled, setting the stage for Hollywood’s biggest night just weeks ahead of the ceremony. 

Hosted by Conan O’Brien for the second consecutive year, the Academy Awards will air live on Sunday, March 15, from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, streaming on ABC and Hulu starting at 4 p.m. PT. 

This year, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners stole the spotlight by making history as the most-nominated film of all time with 16 nominations, surpassing iconic titles like All About Eve, La La Land, and Titanic, which had each previously held the record at 14 nods.

This year’s Oscar nominees were revealed by Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman during a live presentation from the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater, announcing contenders across 24 categories, including the newly introduced casting award.

The Academy also implemented stricter voting rules this year, requiring members to confirm they have viewed all nominated films, tracked through the Academy Screening Room app or verified via detailed viewing forms, to ensure a more informed and transparent voting process.
