TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AC Milan returned to winning ways by defeating Lecce 3-0 in Matchday 5 of the 2026/27 Italian League season at San Siro on Monday, September 21, 2026.
Prior to this, Ruben Amorim's side had gone three consecutive matches without a win across all competitions, recording two draws in the league and one loss in the Europa League.
Milan's victory was secured through goals from Christian Pulisic, Adrien Rabiot, and Diego Moreira.
The three points lifted the Rossoneri to fifth place in the standings, with 11 points from five matches.
Meanwhile, Lecce remained in 12th place with six points, according to the official Lega Serie A website as cited by Antara.
Milan sought to control the game from the outset, and their pressure paid off in the 14th minute.
Strahinja Pavlovic delivered a lofted pass that found Pulisic; the American controlled the ball before firing a shot into the net to give Milan a 1-0 lead.
Lecce attempted to respond, but Milan's defense held firm. No further goals were scored before halftime, and the Rossoneri headed to the dressing room with a 1-0 advantage.
Milan found the net again in the 61st minute. Following a one-two combination, Goncalo Ramos passed the ball to Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot then finished the move with an accurate shot, doubling Milan's lead to 2-0.
The Rossoneri extended their lead further in the 73rd minute. Diego Moreira dribbled into the penalty area, bypassing the Lecce defense, before unleashing a shot that beat the visiting goalkeeper.
Lecce tried to find a consolation goal in the remaining time, but their efforts proved fruitless by the time the final whistle blew.
Milan thus secured a 3-0 victory over Lecce.
