TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - BLACKPINK, through their Instagram account @blackpinkofficial on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, announced the 2025 World Tour schedule. The initial list of cities includes prominent locations across the globe, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, and Tokyo.
Based on the Instagram post, BLACKPINK's 2025 World Tour is set to commence on July 6, 2025, with the opening shows taking place at Goyang Stadium, South Korea. The group will perform for two days, on July 6-7, 2025.
This announcement has brought excitement among BLINKS, BLACKPINK'd fanbase name. However, the list of tour destinations is very limited, and unfortunately, Jakarta is not included.

According to Billboard, tickets for the BLACKPINK World Tour 2025 will go on sale starting February 27, 2025, through Love Nation. Further details regarding ticket sales terms have yet to be announced.
Following the success of their 2022-2023 World Tour, BLACKPINK is once again preparing to connect with their global fanbase.
Billboard reported that BLACKPINK's previous world tour has placed the K-Pop group on the Billboard 2023 Top Tours chart, with 703,000 tickets sold and profits reaching US$148.3 million.
BLACKPINK first announced the 2025 World Tour on February 5 via their Instagram account, although limited information was shared at that time.
It remains uncertain whether the list of cities for the BLACKPINK 2025 World Tour will be expanded. As of now, Jakarta is not among the confirmed destinations.
Over the past year, BLACKPINK members Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose have been focused on their individual solo projects. The 2025 World Tour will serve as a reunion event for the group.
In an interview with Billboard, Lisa expressed her excitement about reuniting with her bandmates. "I can't wait," said Lisa.
