TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that weather in most regions of Indonesia will be cloudy to rainy on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This weather forecast was announced by BMKG forecaster Sentia Arianti, as reported by Antara.
In the Sumatra region, the weather in Padang is forecasted to be hazy, with thick clouds in Banda Aceh, Pekanbaru, and Tanjung Pinang, light rain in Pangkal Pinang, and rain with thunder in Medan. Palembang will be cloudy, while Jambi, Bengkulu, and Bandar Lampung will have thick clouds.
In Java, light rain is forecasted for Serang, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya.
Light rain is expected in Denpasar, Mataram, and Kupang, in Bali and Nusa Tenggara.
In Kalimantan, thick clouds are forecasted in Pontianak, and light rain in Samarinda, Palangkaraya, and Banjarmasin. There is a possibility of rain with thunder in Tanjung Selor.
In Sulawesi, thick clouds are expected in Gorontalo and Palu. Moderate rain in Makassar. Rain with thunder in Manado, Mamuju, and Kendari.
In the eastern part of Indonesia, Ambon and Manokwari will be cloudy. Light rain will likely shower Nabire, Jayapura, Jayawijaya, and Merauke, while rain with thunder in Ternate and Sorong.
