'Thousands of mourners expected'
By Dan Davis
Our man in Portugal, CHRIS MATTHEWS, reports from the church:
Thousands of mourners are expected to line the streets this morning for the funeral of Liverpool and Portugal footballer Diogo Jota.
Jota, 28, and his brother Andre Silva, 26, were killed when their green Lamborghini Huracan crashed and burst into flames in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The brothers' coffins are currently in a chapel of rest in their hometown of Gondomar.
Just before 10am they will be carried from the chapel of rest to the front of the neighbouring Parochial Church of Gondomar.
Only family and friends will be allowed inside the church, however a livestream with audio of the service will be played outside for the public.
Yesterday, thousands of people paid their respects and laid flowers at the wake, which traditionally happens before the funeral in Portugal.
Today, fans in football shirts from where the two brothers played will gather outside the front of the church as they say goodbye to one of Portugal's greatest players.
Neves and Cancelo emotion
By Dan Davis
Diogo Jota's Portugal team-mates Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo were overcome with tears as they remembered their old friend on Friday night.
The duo were clearly moved as Al-Hilal and Fluminense paid a minute's silence to Jota and his brother Andre Silva during the Club World Cup.
After the tribute, Neves had his face in his hands while Cancelo sank down on his haunches and wiped away tears.
Less than a month ago, Neves and Jota were part of the Portugal side which beat Spain in the Nations League final.
What we know about the crash
By Dan Davis
Diogo Jota and his brother tragically passed away in a car crash in Spain in the early hours of Thursday morning.
He is understood to have been driving back to England to join up with his Liverpool team-mates for pre-season on Monday, having recently undergone minor surgery and been advised not to fly.
Spanish police said the Lamborghini veered off the road after a tyre blowout while overtaking another vehicle. It then caught fire.
Tributes have been laid outside Anfield by mourners.
An absolute tragedy.
Former Portugal boss arrives

Fernando Santos, the former Portugal manager, will attend the ceremony. He was spotted walking into the church in a white shirt.
Santos took charge of the national side between 2014-2022.
Diogo Jota, of course, was a regular international for his country, earning 49 caps and scoring 14 goals. He became a favourite among supporters.
Liverpool players pay tribute

Several Liverpool players touched down in Portugal last night and visited the Chapel of the Resurrection in Gondomar, where the bodies of Diogo Jota and his brother were laid to rest.
Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo and Federico Chiesa were all among the group applauded by local mourners as they passed through the streets.
Arne Slot was pictured, too.
Some former Reds stars also made the trip, including former club captain Jordan Henderson and Brighton's James Milner.
