TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The impact of the United States and Israel attack on Iran is starting to be felt in Bali. Several flights from Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport have been delayed and rescheduled.
"This is due to the closure of airspace in several countries," said airport spokesperson Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi on Saturday evening, February 28, 2026.
However, he emphasized that flight operations and airport services at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali are generally operating normally.
As of Saturday at 9:00 PM WITA, several flights had been adjusted. One of them was Etihad Airways flight EY477 from Denpasar (DPS) to Abu Dhabi (AUH).
Three flights were subsequently canceled: Emirates flight EK369 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB), Emirates flight EK399 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB), and Qatar Airways flight QR963 from Denpasar (DPS) to Doha (DOH).
Gede Eka stated that the management of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), as the operator of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, is coordinating with several agencies.
Primarily, with airlines to continuously update flight schedules and handle the handling of prospective passengers already at the airport.
The agency is also coordinating with AirNav Indonesia to monitor the affected airspace and with security personnel to anticipate security situations at the airport.
"We urge prospective passengers to continue communicating with their airlines for updated flight schedule information," he said.
The agency also provides a help desk located on the 2nd Floor of the International Departures Terminal, as well as a contact center that can be accessed by telephone at 172 for information updates.
