TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Malaysia emerged as the overall champion at the Indonesia Masters 2026, claiming three titles at the BWF Super 500 tournament held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, from Tuesday to Sunday, January 20–25.
The Malaysian victories came in men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin won the men’s doubles by defeating Indonesia’s Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin, while Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan claimed the women’s doubles title after Japan’s Arisa Igarashi and Miyu Takahashi withdrew due to injury.
In mixed doubles, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei overcame Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje in three sets, recovering from a first-game loss to secure the championship.
Host Indonesia captured one title in men’s singles through Alwi Farhan, who beat Thailand’s Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in straight games.
China also won a single title via Chen Yu Fei in women’s singles, who defeated Thailand’s Pitchamon Opatniputh.
