TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has involved 67 ministries, institutions, and regional governments from 34 provinces in its National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK) team for 2025-2026. This team will implement 15 anti-corruption actions across three key focus areas.

"The focus of the activities is on licensing/governance, state financial issues, and law enforcement and bureaucratic reformation," said the Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Setyo Budianto as quoted from the KPK's YouTube channel live broadcast on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Setyo stated that these actions are the implementation of Law Number 7 of 2006 concerning the Ratification of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and Presidential Regulation 54/2018. "We hope that all ministries, institutions, and regional governments will do their best in the implementation of Stranas PK actions," he said.

He added that progress will be evaluated every three months. Stranas PK members will submit reports on their efforts, which will be accessible via the Jaga.ID website. Every six months, these reports will be submitted to the President. The first quarterly evaluation will be conducted at the Office of the Presidential Chief of Staff.

KPK's Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, Pahala Nainggolan, stated that there are no sanctions in place for members of Stranas PK. However, if a region fails to implement the actions, the Ministry of Home Affairs can evaluate the regional budget plan.

Pahala also ensured that the implementation of Stranas PK will not be disrupted by the current budget efficiency as they rely on digitization in carrying out tasks or making reports. The focus will be on analyzing regions or ministries/institutions that do not carry out the agreed-upon actions.

The membership agreement was signed by the National Team for Corruption Prevention, consisting of the KPK, the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), and the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPAN-RB).
