TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Ducati Lenovo racer, Marc Marquez, has become the third rider with the most win in MotoGP. He secured this after winning the main race at the grand prix of Argentina 2025, at the Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, early Monday morning WIB, March 17.
With this additional victory, Marc now equals the record of MotoGP legend Angel Nieto, who has a total of 90 wins in all classes throughout his career. MotoGP wrote on its social media, "The third rider with the most wins in all classes is equivalent to MotoGP legend Angel Nieto, pay respect to Marc Marquez," on Monday.
Marquez, who hails from Spain, continues to shadow the winning records of legends Giacomo Agostini and living legend Valentino Rossi. Agostini is the rider with the most wins in history, with a total of 122 wins in all classes and 68 wins in the MotoGP class. Rossi has secured a total of 115 wins in all classes and 89 wins in the MotoGP class.
Meanwhile, Marc Marquez has now won a total of 90 victories, with 64 of them coming from the MotoGP class. The 32-year-old rider has started the season perfectly after winning the first two grand prix races.
These two victories now place Marc Marquez in the lead of the provisional standings with a total of 74 points.
Next, the race will take place at the American grand prix starting from March 28 to 31.
