The Detroit Lions' tradition of hosting Thanksgiving Day games proved beneficial for one Ford Field security guard on Thursday.
Green Bay rookie defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse was among the Packers players who got to celebrate their 31-24 upset of the Lions with the customary on-field Turkey Day feast.
But Stackhouse wasn't just focused on his own post-game hunger. Instead, the 23-year-old Stackhouse politely offered the surrounding security guards some turkey as his teammates continued to chow down.
The guards all refused, with the exception of one, who begrudgingly accepted Stackhouse's offer after about 20 seconds of prodding.
'Do it, eat it,' a voice can be heard saying from off screen.
Ultimately the security guard acquiesced, much to the delight of coworkers and Stackhouse.

Remarkably, a rumor surfaced afterwards that the Detroit security guard was fired for accepting the offer from the rival Packers, but the team has since cleared up that misinformation.
'This employee was not disciplined at all for this situation,' a team spokesperson told TMZ. 'The report is inaccurate.'
Stackhouse's gesture was well received online, where many people complimented his manners.
'Nice gesture from Stackhouse,' one fan remarked on X.
Another described the former Bulldog as 'such a nice fellow.'
Stackhouse has been a major bright spot for the 8-3-1 Packers.
An undrafted rookie out of Georgia, Stackhouse has helped fill the spot vacated by TJ Slaton, who joined the Cincinnati Bengals before the season.
Although he wasn't expected to make the roster, his mother Rajeeyah Howard later told Packers.com that she always knew he would.
'To be honest with you, I never had a doubt that Nazir was gonna make that roster,' Howard said. 'When he made that roster, a tear just dropped down because – for those who didn't see it, he made you see it. That's beautiful; so, so beautiful.'
Stackhouse has appeared in 12 games this season, making 10 total tackles and offering some much-needed depth for the NFL's fourth-ranked defense.
