TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto is set to inaugurate the Police Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG/MBG kitchen) and the Food Resilience Warehouse in the Palmerah area of West Jakarta on Friday, February 13, 2026.
The inauguration event is scheduled to begin at 08:30 AM, which coincides with the busiest hours when most people are on the roads.
To anticipate the visit, the Jakarta Metropolitan Police's Traffic Directorate (Polda Metro Jaya) will implement traffic engineering. "The engineering or diversions will be applied situationally," said Chief Commissioner Komarudin, the head of the Traffic Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, when contacted on Thursday night, February 12, 2026.
Komarudin estimated that the roads in Palmerah will be busier than usual due to increased traffic volume. "We will strive to ensure that public activities continue, although it is very likely that there will be an increase in volume or density beyond the usual days," he said.
He then urged the public to avoid the Palmerah area during the inauguration. This advice applies to private vehicle users.
"We advise private vehicle users to avoid the roads around Palmerah Market or West Palmerah, except for public transportation on routes such as mikrolet and Jaklingko," he said.
