TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is implementing service adjustments in anticipation of the New Year's Eve car-free night on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Head of the Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, said these adjustments are designed to cater to people's mobility during the festivities.
“27 routes will be adjusted,” Ayu confirmed in an official statement released on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
The adjustments include:
- Corridor 1 (Blok M - Kota): Diverted via Corridor 13 and Corridor 9, temporarily bypassing the ASEAN bus stop to the National Monument (towards Kota) and the National Monument to the Grand Mosque (towards Blok M).
- Route 10H (Tanjung Priok - Bundaran Senayan): Shortened with a turnaround point in Petamburan, resulting in the temporary unavailability of the Gerbang Pemuda, Senayan Bank DKI, and Bundaran Senayan bus stops.
- Route 14A (National Monument - Jakarta International Stadium): Shortened to Pecenongan, excluding the National Monument bus stop from service.
- Route 1A (Pantai Maju - Balai Kota): Diverted to Pantai Maju - Juanda, bypassing the City Hall and National Monument bus stops.
- Corridor 2 (Pulo Gadung - Monas): Diverted via Pecenongan, excluding the City Hall and National Monument bus stops from service.
- Route 2A (Pulo Gadung - Rawa Buaya via Balai Kota): Diverted via Juanda, bypassing the City Hall and National Monument bus stops.
- Route 2P (Senen - Dukuh Atas Transport Hub): Modified via Jalan Imam Bonjol, resulting in the temporary unavailability of several bus stops, including Tosari 1 - Dukuh Atas (towards Dukuh Atas) and Taman Kudus, Latuharhary, and GPIB Paulus Sunda Kelapa (towards Senen).
- Corridor 3 (Kalideres - Monas via Veteran): Diverted to Kalideres - Juanda, excluding the National Monument bus stop from service.
- Route 3F (Kalideres - Senayan Bank DKI): Shortened with a U-turn point in Petamburan, resulting in the temporary unavailability of the Gerbang Pemuda, Senayan Bank DKI, and Bundaran Senayan stops.
- Route 4C (Pemuda Merdeka - Bundaran Senayan): Modified via Jalan Imam Bonjol, resulting in the temporary unavailability of the Tosari 1 - Bundaran Senayan stops (towards Bundaran Senayan) and Bundaran Senayan - Tosari 2 (towards Pemuda Merdeka).
- 5C (Cililitan - Juanda): Diverted to Cililitan - Pecenongan, excluding the City Hall and National Monument stops from service.
- Route 5M (Kampung Melayu - Tanah Abang via Cikini): Diverted via Pejambon, bypassing the City Hall 1 - Transjakarta Tanah Abang stops (towards Tanah Abang) and Transjakarta Tanah Abang - Across MNC Center (towards Kampung Melayu).
- Route 6D (Tebet Station - Senayan Roundabout): Operates via a flyover to Karet, excluding the Plaza Sentral - Senayan Roundabout 1 bus stops (towards Senayan Roundabout) and Senayan Roundabout 1 - Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur 5 (towards Tebet Station).
- Route 6M (Manggarai Station - Blok M): Shortened to Simpang Kuningan, excluding the Jamsostek 3 - Blok M bus stops (towards Blok M) and ASEAN - Jamsostek 2 (towards Manggarai Station).
- Route 6V (Ragunan - Senayan Bank DKI): Shortened to Tegal Mampang, excluding the Grand Mosque, Senayan Bank DKI, and Senayan Roundabout stops from service.
- Route 7F (Kampung Rambutan - Juanda via Cempaka Putih): Diverted to Kampung Rambutan - Pecenongan, excluding the City Hall and National Monument bus stops from service.
- Route 9D (Pasar Minggu - Tanah Abang): Operates via Slipi, excluding the Jembatan Serong - Benhil 1 (towards Pasar Minggu) and Benhil 2 - Seberang Jembatan Serong (towards Tanah Abang) stops from service.
In addition to these route adjustments, Transjakarta has also implemented modified operating hours for certain routes. Routes 1B (Palmerah Station - Tosari), 1F (Palmerah Station - Senayan Roundabout), 1H (Tanah Abang - Gondangdia Station), 1N (Tanah Abang - Blok M), 1P (Senen - Blok M), 1R (Senen - Tanah Abang), 2Q (Gondangdia - City Hall), 6A (Ragunan - City Hall via Kuningan), 6B (Ragunan - City Hall via Semanggi), and 9C (Pinang Ranti - Senayan Roundabout) will operate with limited service from 05:00 WIB to 18:00 WIB.
Ayu further confirmed that to celebrate the New Year, Transjakarta is offering a special fare of Rp1 for all passengers from December 31, 2024, to January 1, 2025.
