TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka inspected the flood-affected areas in Balangan and Banjar, South Kalimantan, on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He wants to ensure that the disaster response is swift.
"Today I went to Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province, to ensure that the disaster response in the field is quick, coordinated, and on target, following the instructions of President Prabowo," he said in an official statement from the Vice President's Secretariat on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
