TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gadjah Mada University (UGM) has become one of the most sought-after higher education institutions in Indonesia, especially through the 2025 SNBP or the Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Prestasi (National Selection Based on Achievement).
SNBP is one of the paths for the National Selection for New Student Admission (SNPMB) in Indonesia. This path provides opportunities for high school students in Indonesia and abroad with outstanding achievements to participate in SNPMB at State Universities (PTN).
Every year, tens of thousands of high school students compete fiercely to secure a place at UGM through this path. This year, UGM admitted 2,783 students for 93 study programs ranging from bachelor's to applied bachelor's degrees. Meanwhile, in SNBP 2024, the university recorded a total of 31,289 applicants.
Registration for the SNBP 2025 path was closed on February 18. The selection results will be announced on March 18, 2025, on the official SNPMB BPPP page. But, what are the lists of favorite departments at UGM?
Favorite Study Programs at UGM
As reported on the SNPMB BPPP Kemendikbud page, the least popular department in SNBP 2024 at UGM is the Agricultural Extension and Communication Study Program with only 56 applicants. Meanwhile, the Medical Study Program is the top department with 2,159 applicants.

How to Check the SNBP 2025 Announcement Results
For students who have participated in the SNPMB selection, the announcement for the SNBP 2025 path can be viewed on the SNPMB BPPP portal by following these steps:
- Please access the SNMPB BPPP portal by visiting the https://snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id site
- Then click on the three lines icon located in the top left corner
- Next, select the SNBP menu
- On the SNBP menu, please select the SNBP Announcement 2025 option
- Then open the announcement portal site through the link https://pengumuman-snbp-snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id
- If the site cannot be accessed, please access it through the 40 PTN alternative link
- After being directed to the announcement portal, please enter the SNBP registration number and date of birth, then click to see the selection results.
