For the fourth time, A'ja Wilson has reportedly been named the WNBA's most valuable player after a record-breaking season for the Las Vegas Aces.
Wilson, 29, is the first player to become WNBA MVP four times after she led the league in points per game and blocks this season.
The 6-foot-4 center also was the first player in WNBA history to average more than 20 points and 10 rebounds per game across multiple seasons since the league's inception. Wilson also had 13 30-point games this season, the most all-time.
Since entering the WNBA in 2018, Wilson has become one of the most accomplished women's basketball players of all-time.
This year's WNBA MVP allows the South Carolina alumnus to pass Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, and Lauren Jackson for the record number of wins of the league's highest individual honor.
Wilson joins Cynthia Cooper has the only back-to-back MVPs in WNBA history, with the Houston Comets legend winning it in 1997 and 1998.

Wilson's previous WNBA MVP wins came in 2020 and 2022 before the last two seasons. In between the dynamo's run of amazing form was a MVP for Jonquel Jones in 2021 and Breanna Stewart two years ago.
Wilson averaged 23.4 points and 2.3 blocks per game, likely edging out Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier for the award.
Collier averaged averaging 22.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game while playing for the WNBA's best team.
The other three finalists for the award were Allisha Gray, Alyssa Thomas and Kelsey Mitchell.
Mitchell and Wilson will go head-to-head in the WNBA semifinals as the Aces take on the Fever, while Thomas and Collier's teams, the Lynx and Mercury, face on the other side of the bracket.
Both best-of-five semifinals have their first games on Sunday.
