Arkansas defensive back Kani Walker was carted off the field and rushed to hospital on Saturday night after taking a knee to the helmet during their loss to Ole Miss.
Early in the fourth quarter, Walker raced back in a bid to prevent Ole Miss wide receiver Deuce Alexander from catching a huge 40-yard pass over on the right-hand side of their 30-yard line.
Yet when fellow Razorbacks defender Caleb Wooden also chased Alexander down from the opposite side, he appeared to take an accidental knee to the head from his teammate after falling to the floor.
Walker was left motionless on the turf before medics quickly came onto the field to treat him. He was then placed on a stretcher and carted off while holding a thumb up to signal to the crowd that he was alert.
The Arkansas player then headed off to a local hospital as a precaution, with ESPN confirming that he was moving all of his extremities when leaving the field.
