Arsenal have reportedly been given a major boost ahead of Sunday afternoon's north London derby against Tottenham, with four recently injured stars spotted with the squad.

The Gunners can extend their lead at the top of the table to six points with a victory at the Emirates after Man City were beaten 2-1 by Newcastle.

And, ahead of kick off as Mikel Arteta's squad embarked on a pre-match walk, Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli were spotted with their team-mates, according to The Athletic

It came as the players left their Islington hotel and although the presence of the quartet is not a guarantee of inclusion, it is a welcome sign for Arteta.

Madueke hasn't played since he suffered a knee injury against Man City in September, while Odegaard and Martinelli have been missing since October.

Calafiori has started every Premier League game this season but he missed both of Italy's games during the November international break - and returned to Arsenal early - as he attempts to manage an ongoing hip issue.

However, Viktor Gyokers and Kai Havertz were not seen with the Gunners squad, suggesting they are not yet ready to return to action.
