Former Australia cricket captain Ricky Ponting has torched England's 'Bazball' tactics in the first Ashes Teat in Perth.
The three-time world cup winner claims the at-times reckless mindset the England side possesses hurt their chances of winning their first match of the Summer significantly.
'They (England) made so many glaring mistakes in that last game in Perth to let Australia back into the game', he told Mark Bouris' podcast.
'And then (they lost) the what was looking to be the unlosable test match'.
All of England's processes have been slammed since they arrived in Australia for the first Test.
Their preparation mechanisms, in game tactics and mindset towards constructive feedback from past players has all been under the microscope.

Australia's highest Test run scorer has slammed the England team's ignorant mindset, and revealed how the successful Aussie teams he played in coped with adversity.
'They (England) don't talk about refining the way they play. We'll go harder next time, we didn't go hard enough this time', Ponting said.
'That's the way they're talking about it'.
'The great teams that I played in.... if we had a day like that [England's showing on day two of the first Test], we'd sit down and make sure we massage it and fix that style of play for the next game', he added.
Ponting's comments come less than a week before the second Test of the Summer will get underway.
Australia has shocked many fans across the globe this afternoon by announcing an unchanged squad to the group picked in Perth.
Captain Pat Cummins has been ruled out of the match, with a return date of the third Test almost guaranteed.
But questions remain over which player will open the batting for Australia with Jake Weatherald.
