Two lackluster performances from the Chicago Bears has led the team's head coach, Ben Johnson, to publicly rip into his own team on Wednesday after entering Week 3 of the NFL season with a pair of losses.
The Bears entered 2025 with raised expectations with Johnson coming to town after elevating NFC North rivals, the Detroit Lions, to one of the best teams in the NFL as an offensive coordinator.
Chicago has instead picked up right where they left off last season with a sluggish offense, led by a disappointing Caleb Williams, who has yet to live up to his top-draft pick billing.
The Bears began the season with a loss to division foes, the Minnesota Vikings, allowing 21 points in the fourth quarter.
A reunion for Johnson with Detroit went horribly as the Lions scored 52 points against Chicago's defense in the game.
'I think our practice habits are yet to reflect a championship caliber team,' Johnson said Wednesday.

Johnson's comments come after the Bears have yet to win this season with two harsh losses
The Bears also do not have a particularly easy schedule coming up to right the Windy City franchise.
Chicago will likely be favored in one of their next six upcoming games, against the Saints, with contests against the Commanders, Bengals, Ravens, Cowboys, and Raiders also on tap.
The Bears have not won a playoff game since 2010 and have not made the postseason since 2020.
Chicago has not finished the season with a winning record since 2018, when a Wild Card round loss followed a 12-4 regular-season mark.
If the first two games and Johnson's comments are any sign of what is to come, 2025 might be a wash for the Bears as well.
