Aryna Sabalenka shared snaps from a sun-soaked romantic getaway with her boyfriend as the World tennis No 1 continues to celebrate her US Open victory earlier this month.

After suffering heartache in Melbourne and Paris, the Belarusian star overcame Amanda Anisimova 6-3, 7-6 to win back-to-back titles at Flushing Meadows.

Back in her locker room post-match, Sabalenka's team drenched each other in champagne before the 27-year-old told reporters: 'Oh girl, we're gonna drink.'

And it seems the celebrations didn't stop that night, with Sabalenka now enjoying a luxurious holiday with her Brazilian entrepreneur boyfriend Georgios Frangulis.

She shared snaps of the getaway to her Instagram on Monday, showing the pair soaking up the sun on a lavish yacht in an unknown location.

Sabalenka beamed with happiness while posing for a photo in a red and white bikini in one snap while also putting on a loved-up display as she shared a kiss with her partner.

She captioned the snaps: 'you have my [heart emoji]'.

Sabalenka and Frangulis began dating in April 2024, according to People, shortly after the passing of the tennis star's ex Konstantin Koltsov, who died by suicide in March of that year.

The Brazilian had showed his support for Sabalenka following the tragic loss of Koltsov, something she opened up about later that year.

'There was a really tough period where I was happy to have him by my side,' she said, 'always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff.'

He's been spotted in the stands at many of Sabalenka's matches since, including her triumph in New York just a matter of weeks ago.

The victory earnt the female superstar a record $5million (£3.7m) prize - the biggest in the history of the competition.

After claiming victory, the 27-year-old took to social media to heap praise on her supporters after what has been a challenging year.

'I'm speechless right now,' Sabalenka wrote on Instagram.

The world No 1 demonstrated a newfound patience during her triumph at Flushing Meadows

'All of the tough lessons I've learned this past season… this win makes it all worth it. It's beyond my wildest dream to be holding this trophy again.

'Amanda Anisimova you are incredible and played your heart out this tournament. Keep going.

'To the fans, thank you for your support. I hear you and see you, and having you behind me cheering me on, at my highs and lows, is what pushes me to do my best every time I step on the court. Team Tiger forever.

'To my team, I wouldn't be here without you —but don't forget you wouldn't be here without me. You are my backbone.

'The unwavering support you give me, traveling with me around the world, being by my side 24/7, 365 days a year. This trophy is also yours. And New York, I love you.'

The triumph comes as a relief for Sabalenka who suffered disappointing defeats this year in the finals of both the French Open and the Australian Open.

'After those two finals where I completely lost control over my emotions, I just didn't want that to happen again,' Sabalenka said.

'There were a few moments when I was this close to just let it go. I was like "C'mon now, you have to stay focused. Keep going, keep trying." It's really helped me.

'I think I have to keep the same mindset every time – hopefully I'm going to make many more finals – so every time I'm in the final, I have to stick to the same plan.'
