Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen suffered a humiliating moment during their game against the Buccaneers - leaving some fans questioning his 'NFL MVP' status.

During the first quarter of the game, with the score tied 0-0, Allen had the ball in deep Bills territory on a 2nd-and-10 and looked to find the escape route for his side.

However, what transpired was nothing short of embarrassing for the Bills QB. Allen was forced back into his own end zone before tossing the ball a mere 10 yards and straight into the arms of a Tampa defender.

Allen had seemingly been aiming for teammate Josh Palmer but instead found Bucs cornerback Jacob Parrish, who was tackled before he could take it to the house.

It didn't take long for fans to offer their criticisms of Allen, with many suggesting that his MVP season last year was a mere 'fluke'.

Taking to X, one said: 'Josh Allen back to trying to do too much. The Bills will not win a Super Bowl with him'.

'Allen should’ve never won MVP over Lamar. He’s a fraud,' another wrote.

'This is the MVP ???', another questioned on X.

Another wrote: 'Josh Allen just had one of the worst plays of the season'.

After Allen had his pass intercepted, he repeated the feat shortly after meaning that it was the Bills star's fourth two-turnover game of the year.

He's 0-3 in those games and, across his entire NFL career, he has a 19-19 record when committing two or more giveaways during a game.

The stats show that, historically, his turnovers have typically split his results evenly however, in 2025, it's proving to be an issue for Buffalo.

Despite his embarrassing moment, Allen did step up and recorded a rushing touchdown just a few minutes later in the first quarter.

The incident comes just a few weeks after the signal-caller managed to humiliate himself against the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the fourth quarter during his team's eventual 28-21 win at Highmark Stadium, the Buffalo Bills quarterback slid down with the ball under his arm as Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton closed in on him for a six-yard gain.

As Allen hit the ground, Bolton brushed the side of his helmet as he ran past and Allen flopped his head back as if he had taken a heavy hit to the helmet.

But the replays showed Bolton made minimal contact with Allen and the Bills quarterback clearly exaggerated the impact from the Chiefs player.

CBS analysts Jim Nance and Tony Romo were quick to mock Allen once they'd seen the replay.
