TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecasted moderate to heavy rain across Jakarta and its surrounding areas from late afternoon into the evening on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Humidity levels in the Jabodetabek region are expected to range between 63 and 97 percent.
According to BMKG’s 24-hour weather update released at 7:00 a.m. WIB, skies in several areas of Jakarta will be cloudy around 01:00 PM, followed by a chance of light to moderate rain in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, Depok, and Bekasi City and Regency.
From noon to 07:00 PM, moderate to heavy rain is predicted in parts of West Jakarta, South Jakarta, Tangerang City and Regency, South Tangerang, and the Bogor region.
Temperatures across Jabodetabek are expected to range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, while Bogor may experience slightly cooler conditions between 19 and 33 degrees Celsius.
On Wednesday night into Thursday, light rain may continue in Tangerang, South Tangerang, East Jakarta, South Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands, while other areas are expected to remain cloudy.
Surface winds are forecasted to blow moderately from the northeast and south, reaching speeds of up to 22 kilometers per hour.
