Braxton Berrios posts gushing anniversary message to Alix Earle... days after her 'total humiliation' by stepmom

NFL star Braxton Berrios has shared a heartfelt anniversary message to girlfriend Alix Earle - just days after the social media star was humiliated by her stepmom. 

Taking to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, Berrios shared a trio of pictures of Earle from their escapades over the years, along with a wholesome caption. 

Across the pictures, a caption read: '2 years of Laughter, Happiness & Loving every piece of you [heart emoji].

Meanwhile, Earle took to her own Instagram Story to commemorate the occasion. She shared a picture of the couple on a boat with the caption: '2 years'. 

Earlier this year, Earle admitted she has struggled as her relationship with NFL boyfriend Berrios since going long-distance - but hit back at break-up rumors.

Speaking on her a vlog, Earle said: 'I think this is kind of like my first go at a real long-distance relationship. When it comes to our communication, it is harder than usual.

'We have not had a lot of problems in our relationship but it has definitely just been a different obstacle'.

Despite the issues, the couple - who began dating in November 2023 - have remained strong and have made it to their two-year anniversary. 

Berrios' heartfelt message to Earle comes amid a turbulent week for the internet personality - after she was left 'totally humiliated' by her stepmom. 

Earle has had a difficult relationship with stepmother Ashley Dupré - the same Ashley Dupré who had made headlines years earlier for her involvement in a sex scandal with the former governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer.

Recently, however, Earle, spoke openly about how she and Dupré, 40, have 'gotten to such a good point' in their relationship.

That was, at least, until last week when Dupré is said to have utterly and publicly 'humiliated' her famous stepdaughter.

Earle is currently a contestant on this season of Dancing with the Stars and only two more episodes away from the final. But with the stakes rising, and after Earle was given a disappointing score by guest judge and pro-dancer Cheryl Burke last week, Dupré hit out at Burke on TikTok, telling her to 'take more Ozempic'.

'She looks weird. Doesn't even look like her,' added Dupré, who was watching the show from home.

Fans immediately slammed the comments as 'body shaming', forcing Dupré to eventually apologize for her 'insensitive' words - but the damage was done. The incident had, sources say, exposed a family 'tension'.  

'The Earles keep family issues private, but lately there has been noticeable tension between Alix and her stepmom Ashley,' an insider told the Daily Mail. 

'Ashley likes attention just as much as Alix, so she'll say and post whatever she wants without thinking about the repercussions. This smack talking of Cheryl Burke was a scenario where she crossed the line.'

But despite that apology, it is understood that Earle was left fuming by Dupré's comments, afraid that they could cost her a spot in the DWTS final.
