Bulldogs release new logo and fans are NOT happy, accusing the NRL club of using AI: 'looks like Temu Paw Patrol'

Canterbury have released their new logo ahead of the 2026 NRL season - and many Bulldogs fans were quick to voice their disappointment at the design.

CEO Aaron Warburton said the updated look 'strikes the right balance between paying tribute to our 90-year legacy and capturing the energy, ambition and unity that will define our future' - but countless supporters weren't on the same page.

'Looks like something straight off Canva,' one responded on the Bulldogs' official Instagram page.

'Who let the work experience kid play around with ChatGPT?,' asked another.

'It's giving Chase from Paw Patrol vibes,' said a third.

A fourth was even more savage, feeling the new logo - the first change since 2010 -  'looks like Paw Patrol from Temu.'

Club captain Stephen Crichton seemingly loves the new design, stating it 'shows grit and determination', which are long-standing attributes at the Bulldogs.

'Yeah, it means a lot...it shows grit and determination, (and as a unit) we face our challenges head on,' the centre said.

'The new logo also shows to our fans and other teams out there that we are not going to back down.'

It follows an encouraging 2025 campaign, where Canterbury once again played finals footy.

Cameron Ciraldo continues to impress as head coach, and with the likes of Crichton, Jacob Preston and Matt Burton on deck next season, the good times are expected to continue at Belmore.

Earlier this week, Bulldogs supremo Phil Gould was forced to hastily delete a tweet featuring a photo he took inside a toilet cubicle.

The Channel 9 identity put up the post on X showing the back of a door accompanied by the caption: 'Toilets, where the doors come all the way down to the floor...who thinks of this stuff? Brilliant.'

However, the surface of the door was highly polished and the 67-year-old's reflection could easily be seen as he sat down to relieve himself.

Gould deleted that and followed up with another post reading, 'Whoops...how funny. #costanza'.

The Costanza hashtag is a reference to the George Costanza character from the TV show Seinfeld, who was known for his knowledge of public toilets.

After Gould's faux pas, his 75,000 plus followers had a field day when they saw the post.

'No dramas Gus, couldn't see anything, smooth as a Ken doll,' one wrote.

'No no no no no...what were you thinking?' added another.

'Can't believe Gus just sent the whole world a d**k pic, said whoops and it's play on,' a third said.
