NFL star Stefon Diggs has sued a social media influencer who accused the football player of drugging him, sexually assaulting him and later conspiring to kill him.

The New England Patriots wide receiver, who welcomed a son with rapper Cardi B last week, filed a defamation lawsuit against Christopher Blake Griffith on October 1 after he publicly made the allegations against Diggs, who has branded them false.

Diggs, 31, has accused the 'would-be social media influencer' of concocting a lurid tale, stemming from an alleged 2023 incident at the football player's Maryland home, to gain online traction, according to TMZ.

Earlier this year, Griffith shared a screenshot of an incident report he filed to Montgomery County Police Department detailing his allegations on Instagram story.

Diggs has denied the accusations and sued the influencer for libel, maintaining that the accusations have seriously damaged his reputation.

Griffith alleged in the report that Diggs 'drugged and sexually assaulted' him in May 2023.

Furthermore, Griffith accused Diggs of conspiring to have him killed a week after the alleged incident to 'suppress his gay/bisexual secrets from being exposed' after he denied his sexual advances.

Not only did Griffith report the allegations to the police but he also reportedly shared a screenshot of the report to his 99,000 followers, tagging the NFL, the Patriots and UGGs, who has a partnership deal with Diggs.

However, Diggs has denied the allegations, accusing Griffith of fabricating the claims and intentional lying for online stature.

He disputed Griffith's version of events, saying that he, Griffith and other influencers, hit up a local club after a charity basketball game in Washington, DC, before later returning to his home.

After arriving at the property, Diggs said he went to his bedroom, while his assistant asked Griffith to leave.

Diggs is seeking damages and attorneys' fees; however, the exact amount is undisclosed. A pre-trial hearing has been set for July, 2026.

'Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs' high-priced New York Lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs' unwanted sexual advances and his brother's violent attacks,' Griffith's attorney, Jake Lebowitz, told The Daly Mail.

'Not only will we defend against these false allegations but our counterclaims for sexual battery will be filed shortly.'

The Daily Mail has also contacted Diggs' attorneys for comment.

Diggs became a father for a second time last week when his girlfriend Cardi B gave birth to their son. He was present for the birth.

Diggs is also father to an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship and has been at the center of a paternity dispute.

Earlier this month, he learned that he is the father of an Instagram model's baby girl after taking a paternity test.

The 31-year-old Diggs, who is expecting a child with Cardi B, had initially disputed fathering the child with Aileen Lopera, known as Lord Gisselle on social media.

The baby was born in April, with Lopera named her Charliee and giving her the NFL star's last name.

She initially filed a petition to determine if Diggs was her infant daughter's father last December.

'Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work together for the child’s best interests,' Lopera's lawyer, Tamar Arminak, told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.

Diggs said in September that if he is proven to be the father of Charliee, he wants joint legal and physical custody of her.
