Breaking:Liverpool team news: Salah BENCHED

Well, this is a turn up for the books. Liverpool's main man, the Egyptian King, Mohamed Salah, is on the bench for the Reds.

Looks like it's a 4-2-3-1 with Jeremie Frimpong on the right flank and Dominik Szoboszlai at right back again.

Curtis Jones also comes in, with Hugo Ekitike preferred to Alexander Isak up front.

Liverpool fans stuck outside the ground

Liverpool fans are struggling outside the ground, stuck in long queues trying to get into the stadium.

Manchester United experienced the same there a couple of years ago, so it's clearly a regular problem.

We'll bring you any updates in terms of if kick off changes etc.

What about Tottenham?

It wasn't a classic for Spurs. If you didn't see it - trust me. It wasn't good.

But they got the win, which was vital for their first game back following their Europa League victory last year.

They beat Villarreal 1-0, with the goalkeeper, Luiz Junior, essentially throwing the ball in his net. But they all count, eh?

Spurs have a decent set of fixtures for this competition. Remember - they need to finish in the top eight to reach the last-16 automatically.

We'll see how they get on tonight!

The Reds' last time out

Both of these sides won their first matches in the competition. I won't bother showing you the league table after the one game, but it was a good start for these two sides.

You may remember Liverpool's fast start against Atletico Madrid two weeks ago tomorrow. Andy Robertson scored the opener after Mo Salah booted the ball at him from a free kick, and the winger then netted the second two minutes later.

Marcos Llorente then bagged a brace, but Virgil van Dijk popped up with the winner before Diego Simeone started trying to fight the home fans.
