TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Welcoming the 2025 Chinese New Year, PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (ITDC) in The Nusa Dua area, Bali, presents excitement through decorations and attractions. Several points in The Nusa Dua are decorated with typical Chinese New Year ornaments and decorations, such as the entrance to the area, Tugu Mandala, Bale Kulkul, to the tenant area.

The New Year is enlivened by typical Chinese arts and culture attractions, such as barongsai, wushu, and lion dance, which will be held starting Monday, January 27, 2025, at Bali Collection and The Bay Bali, starting at 12:00 WITA (Indonesian Central Time).

Group Head Operation and Service The Nusa Dua I Putu Trisna Wijaya hopes that this performance can be a magnet for local and foreign tourists who are visiting The Nusa Dua area.

"We are also collaborating with tenants in the area to present memorable moments for visitors in celebrating this special day," he said.

Chinese New Year Promo

A number of tenants in the area are also enlivening the Chinese New Year celebration by offering various special promos. One of them is the Kecak and Barong Dance performance which is discounted up to 30 percent on January 31.

The momentum of the long Chinese New Year holiday also has a positive impact on the occupancy rate in the area. During the period of January 24-31, 2025, the average occupancy rate in The Nusa Dua area was recorded at 77.29 percent, with several hotels recording occupancy rates above 80 percent.

In addition, to ensure the comfort and safety of visitors while enjoying the long holiday, the ITDC security unit team is conducting security and patrols throughout the area. This step is part of ITDC's efforts to provide a pleasant and safe holiday experience for tourists.

The variety of Chinese New Year events presented are expected to not only increase the attractiveness of the area, but also support the growth of the tourism industry in Bali in general. "We invite all tourists to enjoy the excitement of the Chinese New Year celebration at The Nusa Dua and experience an unforgettable experience with family and friends," said Putu Trisna.
