Chris Eubank Jr has delivered some knockout news just days ahead of his grudge rematch with rival Conor Benn, revealing he is set to become a father to twin boys.
The sons of British boxing legends Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn are preparing to face off for the second time this Saturday, with Eubank Jr having triumphed 116-112 after 12 rounds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in April.
Just days before the highly-anticipated rematch, the Brighton boxer took to social media to announce the personal news to his fans.
Sharing a clip from the family's reality television show The Eubanks: Like Father, Like Son on BBC, in which he told his famous father the exciting news, Eubank Jr, 36, posted on X: 'So yes many of you guessed it. I will soon be joining the dad gang.
'Only difference is I’ll be joining as a father of two! Twin boys!! I'm so grateful for such a blessing & I will do my absolute best to give them the happiest upbringing I possibly can… just like my old man did for me.'
In the BBC video clip, Eubank Jr tells his father: 'I want to start that next chapter in my life. You've got two grandsons that are on the way.

'I never thought about being a father for my whole life, I want to be the type of father who can and talk to me about anything. I couldn't do that with my old man, I couldn't.'
Eubank Jr keeps his relationship with his long-term girlfriend as private as possible, despite being exposed to the public eye throughout most of his life.
Reacting to the news, Eubank Sr struggled to contain his excitement and fist pumped the air in excitement, while shouting in celebration: 'Rastafari reach'.
The boxing legend and his son were estranged for four years leading up to the first clash between Eubank Jr and Benn in April, which was delayed by three years after the 29-year-old boxer failed a drug test.
The tension began in 2019, when Eubank Jr sent his father a letter to explain that he would be reducing his role as his trainer and continued to fester in the build-up to April's fight.
Eubank Snr publicly condemned the bout, branding it 'attempted murder' due to the brutal weight cut required, and also accused his son of being a 'disgrace' after he infamously slapped Benn with an egg.
Daily Mail Sport visited Eubank Jr in camp ahead of his highly anticipated rematch with Benn to see where that relationship stands now and how both men have attempted to rebuild the father-son bond.
'It's not been easy. It's not an overnight thing,' Eubank Jr said. 'People might think, well, he came to the fight and now they're all lovey again. No, it's not that.

Hinting earlier this year that he has a fondness for fatherhood, Eubank Jr spoke of the love he has for his nephew Raheem - son of his late brother Sebastian (left) who tragically died in 2021
'We are still working to try and get back to how things were many, many years ago when we didn't have these issues. But I'm confident that we'll get there eventually. He will be at my next fight though, supporting me, and that's very important to me.'
Eubank Jr dropped a hint over his plans to become a father during an interview with Steven Bartlett on the Diary of a CEO podcast earlier this year.
Eubank Jr spoke of the love he has for his nephew Raheem, son to the boxer's late brother Sebastian who tragically died in 2021 after suffering a heart attack in Dubai.
During the interview, he said: 'It makes me want to have my own son. I mean, Raheem is my son, but biologically I want to have my own son now because I love who I am and how I feel when I am around him.'
