Audi Crooks produced a stunning performance for Iowa State on Wednesday night - and she wasn't even feeling her best.

The junior tallied 43 points, seven rebounds and a block in just 20 minutes of action as her team trounced Valparaiso 97-50.

Her scoring mark was a record for the program, but it came despite throwing up early on in the game.

As reported by The Des Moines Register, Crooks was fighting a stomach bug but didn't tell her teammates or coaches.

'I'm not going to tell anybody that I'm not feeling good because then they're not going to play me,' she said.

Crooks set the program’s single-game record on a free throw with 8:42 remaining in the fourth quarter, passing Tonya Burns’ mark of 42 against Nebraska on Jan. 18, 1984.

Audi Crooks, seen during a game in March, produced a stunning performance on Wednesday

Crooks scored the first six points of the fourth for a 73-42 lead before being subbed out.

Addy Brown was the second-leading scorer for the Cyclones with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting, with seven rebounds and four assists.

Brown also went over 1,000 career points. Jada Williams notched her first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 10 assists, along with three steals.

A 6-foot-3 center, Crooks has established herself as one of the biggest talents in the women's college game, and on Wednesday extended her streak of scoring in double figures to 71 straight games.

She is averaging 28.3 points per contest in the early stages of this season following her 43-point display - the third-highest mark in the nation.

Her team (4-0) will host Norfolk State next on Sunday.
