Fans have been left irate after a college football star stomped on the foot of a rival.

During UAB's game against Tennessee on Saturday, footage of Blazers safety Sirad Bryant quickly began circulating social media after spotting his 'dirty' act.

After Tennessee made an extra-point attempt in the first quarter, Bryant was seen walking over to Vols kicker Max Gilbert and seemingly stomping on his foot.

Tennessee's players immediately reacted and chased after him before three officials threw flags on the field. Bryant was given an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

The incident swiftly went viral as fans called out Bryant for the nasty move.

One wrote: 'UAB safety Sirad Bryant with an intentional cleating of another player. Bush league. Should’ve been an immediate ejection'.

In a blunt take, another simply wrote: 'That’s dirty'.

UAB were also flagged for targeting later on in the game and saw cornerback Donald Lee ejected.

Tennessee scored three first-quarter touchdowns in their game against the Blazers - which likely lead to Bryant's frustrated actions.

In the end, the Volunteers stormed to a convincing victory and, thus, Bryant's dirty act was for nothing.

Bryant's stomp comes amid a slew of acts in the NFL which have drawn criticism from fans - such as when Jalen Carter spat at Dak Prescott.

The Eagles defensive lineman was fined $57,222 for spitting on Cowboys quarterback. He did not appeal the decision.

Carter was ejected from Philly's Week 1 win over Dallas just six seconds into the game following his act, and the league said in a statement that it is treating his ejection as an already-served one-game suspension.
