As if LSU's rivalry showdown with Ole Miss this weekend wasn't already huge, a new inter-team romance has sparked a social media meltdown from fans.
Just days ahead of the game in Mississippi, the daughter of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has 'hard launched' her new boyfriend... and he just happens to be the star linebacker of the opposition: Whit Weeks.
The 20-year-old Weeks, star of the recent Netflix college football series, also posted the same photo to his own social media, causing carnage between the fanbases.
Landry Kiffin, also 20, first posted the image amid a series of others, captioned 'happy', before LSU star Weeks himself then weighed into the comments to write: 'Nice dude'.
It is the first time the pair have been pictured together, and the timing of the reveal sparked wild conspiracy theories among fans.
On X, Blake Krass wrote: 'Based on Weeks' early comment on the post, it would indicate that he was ready for [the reveal].

Landry (R) is daughter of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, and his team plays LSU this week
'That makes the most likely scenario that he asked her to post it with the goal of getting deep in [Ole Miss head coach] Lane's [head] on game week.'
He did, though, add: 'The double twist mind game from Lane is still in play.'
Another fan claimed it was 'CIA level mind games' from Weeks, ahead of his 4-0 LSU heading into Mississippi this weekend.
Ole Miss, meanwhile, are also 4-0 going into the Magnolia Bowl and put up 45 points against Tulane in a drubbing last time out.

Weeks himself weighed in to the debate by commenting 'nice dude' on her Instagram post
Weeks is a vital part of the LSU defense that has helped the team to 4-0 to start the season
It's yet to be seen how Lane Kiffin - who earns $9million a year - reacts to the news of his daughter's romance with the enemy, but he did previously comment on the game itself.
'This will be the biggest test by far of the season,' he told reporters. 'Like I said, these guys got premier players.'
On X, meanwhile, Ole Miss fans were starting to worry about the potential outcome: 'Imagine we lose and Kiffin comes home and Whit Weeks is in his living room,' one said.
Another added: 'Aight... if LSU wins, we blaming Landry.'
