Washington Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore is feared to have torn his ACL in Sunday's miserable loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Lattimore - who left the game early in the second half after damaging his knee - is set to undergo an MRI scan to confirm the full extent of the injury.

If the scan indeed confirms an ACL tear, the 29-year-old will be forced to undergo surgery and then spend between six to nine months working his way back to full fitness.

It would also mark another devastating blow for the Commanders from Sunday's humiliating loss, after quarterback Jayden Daniels also suffered a gruesome elbow injury in Washington.

Daniels dislocated his elbow as he attempted to run in a consolation touchdown, an X-ray has confirmed, meaning he too will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine exactly how long he will be out for.

As linebacker Drake Thomas brought him down, the 2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year put his left arm down to break his fall but dislocated it in the process and was helped off the field wearing a padded brace.

While it appeared his season was over, that may now not be the case after Rapoport reported that the belief is his injury is not as bad as first feared.

And fortunately for Daniels, the injury did not occur to his throwing arm.

More to follow.
