TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Acting Governor of East Nusa Tenggara Andriko Noto Susanto stated that the government has coordinated with the NTT Province PSSI Association to ensure the arrival of football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese player is rumored to arrive on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

"It's already scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 AM local time at El Tari Kupang airport," he said in Kupang on Monday morning, February 17, 2025. He confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival in Kupang to attend a number of activities scheduled by the Indonesian House of Love Foundation.

The NTT Province PSSI Association has also sent a request letter to the acting Governor of NTT to receive the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and the Indonesian House of Love Foundation, led by Susi Maria Katipana, in Kupang.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the East Nusa Tenggara Governor's office, starting at 10:30 AM. Agenda discussions on Soccer and NTT Development are also awaiting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

NTT Regional Police Public Relations Division Head, Commissioner Henry Novika Chandra, stated that they have coordinated with the NTT Province PSSI Association regarding the planned visit of the player who currently plays for the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr to Kupang.

"Based on my coordination with AKBP Dahrul (Intel Polda), he has communicated with Asprov NTT. The information is that a meeting related to CR7's visit to NTT will be held at 3:00 PM," he said.

He ensured that the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police will plan security measures for the event to remain conducive. "We urge everyone to maintain public order and security within the NTT regional jurisdiction," Henry said.
