The Dallas Mavericks are set to fire general manager Nico Harrison, according to reports.
The 52-year-old has been under pressure ever since Dallas traded superstar Luka Doncic to the Lakers earlier this year.
The Mavericks have made a miserable start to the 2025 season - losing eight of their first 11 games - and ESPN reports that Harrison will be fired on Tuesday.
Dallas landed former Duke star Cooper Flagg with the first overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft but less than five months later, Harrison is reportedly being shown the door.
Doncic, meanwhile, has helped the Lakers secure an 8-3 start in his first full season in Los Angeles.
Back in February, Doncic, Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris were traded to LA for Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a 2029 first-round pick.
Harrison faced relentless criticism over the move, which caught both fans and Doncic himself by surprise.
According to ESPN, however, Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont took responsibility for the trade and admitted it was a mistake during an interaction with a fan earlier this week.
